Sea of Islands: The Oceanic Collections at the UBC Museum of Anthropology brings the Museum’s Oceanic collections together with insights, new knowledge and different ways of thinking about a unique collection of more than 3000 objects that reaches back to the early 1800s and forward to contemporary times. Written by Carol Mayer, Curator Africa/Pacific of Ethnology/Ceramics at the UBC Museum of Anthropology, the book will be lavishly designed and will feature artefacts never before seen in print.  Available spring 2022.
